The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
